The museum often uses “Know Their Story”as a slogan to describe our mission. We hope to share the importance of the Scottsboro Boys’ legacies broadly. Generally, guests visit our historic Scottsboro-based museum building to interact with this story. However, for groups that want to bring history to their home base, submit a speaker request form.
Executive Director and PhD Historian Dr. Thomas Reidy has been studying and collecting information about the often overlooked nuances of the Scottsboro Boys case for almost a decade. He is able to bring in-depth historical insight and compelling story telling to this complex years long legal and social struggle against injustice.
